Dave and Darren's Top 5 Things

Wednesday, October 21, 2026 - 52 minutes

We talk a lot about hot dogs today. Not that we don't always talk about hot dogs. Of course we do. It's just that hot dogs were a topic for a much larger portion of the show today than you might usually expect. We're not apologizing. We love hot dogs. Just wanted to be transparent with you. There's a lot of hot dog talk on this episode. We also got a chance to catch up with Carlie Allison of The Last Picture House. They serve hot dogs there and yet, somehow we didn't mention hot dogs once during that interview. Enjoy!

Dave & Darren are your two best friends who happen to play your favorite music on your favorite radio station. For over 21 years, this award winning (no really) duo has enjoyed waking up the Quad Cities with a mix of irreverence, information, improvisational talk and humor.

They have been described as, "your favorite morning show's favorite morning show assuming that your favorite morning show is in fact, Dave and Darren."

Dave and Darren are live weekday mornings 6a-10a on Planet 93.9.
